WTF!?? My Sky digital box is saying "rain fade", when I call for service I get a engaged tone, and their website is "taking too long to respond".
I'm I having some sort of personal DOS attack, or is Sky totally haxed? |

Whoa, now I get "your call cannot be connected because of overloading". Haven't heard that message in a loooong time.
I wonder who shot the satellite down then? Anyone on UHF and still getting sky? |

Interesting. So either it's the uplink to the satellite or the sat itself! I hope the satellite is like spinning out of control and crashing into shit... that would be awesome!

There are a couple of sunspots on the sun at the moment, spaceweather.com doesn't believe they pose any threat yet, but who knows, maybe the Optus B1 satellite was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
